Saturday I went down to the cove to take pictures of my long time friend Greg and his super cute hate to get my photos taken family.  BUT~!  I still captured some great shots.  I might post some more later of the incredible blue in the ocean I got from my superlicious new polarizing lens Chris got me for my birthday.  I love it!

I had the privilege to photograph my friend Aleta's beautiful children yesterday. She has twin girls and a son.  It was the first time I got to work with older kids and it is alot different!  They actually listened when I said "move over there and put your noses together" Without the crying!  Amazing. The sun was going down but I got some great shots

I have to say that my inspiration and motivation come from these 2 little feet in the sand......and that big hand holding it.
Ben brings excitement to our lives everyday. It never ceases to amaze me the depths of questions
that can come from such small little feet.

New Beginnings

We will call this my new hobby. I have recently purchased a canon rebel xti and taken up photography for fun.
Let's be honest....those of you who know me must realize this has to do with money. If I can't afford something or am just not willing to fork over the cash for it.....I learn to do it myself. Since Ben has graced this Earth I have had the opportunity to have an extremly talented photographer take his picture a couple of times. http://www.debsphotographs.com/
UN-fortunatly I can not afford to do this as often as I would like...SO! I have decided to take it on. So I have offered my novice services to some friends and family and this is where I will post my favorites. The bonus feature here is that I bring Ben to my photo shoots and I end up getting some of the greatest shots of him. The first picture is of my extremly photogenic niece Jenna who was so much fun to shoot.
